How does the self-cleaning litter box work?
The MacyPaw automatically detects when your cat has used the litter box and then starts the cleaning process. Waste is collected in a sealed reservoir.

Is the litter box suitable for all cats?
Yes, the MacyPaw is suitable for most adult cats and kittens from approximately 6 months old (min. 2 kg). For very small kittens, we recommend waiting until they are a little bigger.

Does the litter box make a lot of noise?
No, the motor is whisper quiet and will not disturb your cat.

Which cat litter works best?
Clumping, fine-grained cat litter gives the best results and keeps the litter box clean and fresh.

Do I still have to clean the litter box myself?
Only empty the waste container and replace the waste bag. For optimal hygiene, we recommend wiping the container once a month. The entire container can be removed and cleaned.

How often should I empty the reservoir?
On average 1–2 times per week, depending on the number of cats and how often they use the litter box.

Are the garbage bags reusable?
No, they are designed for single use to ensure hygiene.

Yes, smart sensors stop the cleaning process as soon as motion is detected.

What if my cat is afraid of the litter box?
Give your cat time to adjust. It often helps to leave the old litter box next to the MacyPaw for a while.

How long is the warranty?
You receive a 2-year manufacturer's warranty on all MacyPaw products.

Can I return it if my cat doesn't use the litter box?
Yes, you have a 30-day cooling-off period. We do recommend following the introduction tips so your cat has time to adjust.
